Rafael Niesten made his first money as a child collecting aluminium cans from bins (and yes, adding sand to increase the weight). A series of entrepreneurial ventures followed, leading to investment on Shark Tank and the successful build and sale of multiple companies. Today, he is a multimillionaire who lives a full but deliberately simple life.
